THE WAR OF THE ROSES
It’s 1455! The War of the Roses Begins…
Most people in the country would have continued to plough their fields and drink their cider, unaware of the ‘War of the ‘Cousins‘ taking place around them. We now call this conflict the War of the Roses due to the symbols of the two rival royal families fighting for the throne; namely The house of York and the house of Lancaster. A series of battles in which many people actually swapped sides followed until both sides kissed, made up, married and living happily ever after.
